WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Senior Manager, Regional Sales Planning is responsible for managing the process for generating monthly regional sales plans for each of our 7 HMA regions. This role is key in developing a regional sales plan for each region to effectively measure and track regional sales achievement, inventory availability/pipeline and profitability.
  • The development of regional carflows by model for each region will be the foundation for our regions to track product availability to achieve regional sales and profit targets. This role will be the key liaison coordinating between the regional staff and National on sales planning and profit optimization.
  • Strong business acumen will be critical in coordinating and communicating with various stakeholders including Finance, HMNA Production Planning, Distribution and our regions. Success will require sophisticated process and project management skills, as well as strong analytical, communication and process documentation skills. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Develop and align regional sales plans to maximize sales performance and profitability.
  • Manage and analyze regional carflow strategies to respond to market changes and identify opportunities.
  • Monitor wholesale and retail sales vs. plan; recommend supply adjustments to match demand.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Production Planning, Distribution, and Regional Sales teams to address risks and opportunities.
  • Train Regional Sales teams on sales planning processes and SPOS regional carflow system.
  • Serve as liaison to manage inventory constraints and surplus allocation across regions.
  • Continuously refine SPOS carflow system accuracy with regional inputs and HAEA systems support.
  • Partner with National Sales Operations to establish annual regional targets (sales, share, wholesale, profitability).
  • Provide ongoing reporting on regional sales performance, inventory status, and pipeline insights to executives.
  • Conduct scenario (“what-if”) planning with Finance and Sales Planning to optimize outcomes.
  • Recommend regional volume allocations to support national sales and profitability goals.
  • Maintain and report detailed regional sales rundowns.
  • Deliver data-driven analysis to optimize vehicle allocation by region.
  • Influence enterprise-wide profitability through strategic allocation recommendations generating significant financial impact.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • Eight years of similar experience in a complex organization conducting planning, sales analysis, vehicle distribution, etc.
  • Regional planning a plus.
  • Regional field experience a plus.
  • Carflow analysis a plus.
  • Management consulting a plus.
  • Experience creating and presenting executive facing presentations / report.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide robust and substantiated recommendations.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Ability to assess operational and strategic strengths/weaknesses and make recommendations to leverage or augment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills across diverse groups including regional staff, Finance, Executives, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $114,800 - $164,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
