WHAT YOU WILL DO

***We are in a temporary hybrid work model and returning to 100% onsite on July 28, 2025.***

 

Responsible for systematic gathering of information about collections, disbursements and balances, and the use of that information to effectively manage the funds available to the Company. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manage five basic functions on a daily basis: deposits, funds concentration, disbursements, information and control, and investing/borrowing. 
  • Identify, design and implement improvements in the existing funds management system. 
  • Cash forecasting: generate and update each month, "monthly by day" forecast and “annual by month” forecast. 
  • Ability to set and achieve specific cash targets and bank compensation targets on a quarterly basis. 
  • Reporting to Korea: generate and update each week and month, the liquidity and debt reports required by the CFO. 
  • Day-to-day communication with affiliates to ensure open communication and accuracy of intercompany transactions. 
  • Day-to-day management of banking relationships and service fees. 
  • Manage and deliver annual renewals of debt facilities. 
  • Manage and track Letters of Credit. 
  • Monitor and fulfill all debt compliance requirements. 
  • Execution of wire transfers and various other electronic payment processes. 
  • Maintain the investment policy in compliance with senior management. 
  • Assist KPMG on their yearly audit of cash and short-term investment. 
  • Assist Cybersecurity team with annual PCI Compliance review. 
  • Improve working capital management to maximize interest income by working with accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, marketing, legal, sales, fleet and any other functions that may affect or be affected by the movement of the company's funds. 
  • Maintain current cash management procedures and the ability to work remotely for disaster preparedness. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Master’s degree a plus. 
  • Eight or more years of experience of which at least five years of directly related experience in finance. 
  • At least five years of experience in the automotive industry. 
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience desired. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Minimum of intermediate personal computer skills, especially Excel. 
  • SAP experience preferred. 
  • Familiarity with various banking web portals preferred (CashPro, Access, etc.). 
  • Attention to detail is expected. 
  • Commit to early business hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m.; and as necessary during company shutdown. 
  • CTP preferred. 

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

Compensation Range: $107,800 - $154,000 annual base salary
Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
