WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • This position is responsible for the growth and development of HMA’s Commercial Fleet Sales business in the assigned U.S. region.
  • As the selling and managing of commercial business and fleet management company support liaison in the assigned U.S. region, partners with fleet management companies and end users. Presents HMA features and benefits and is key liaison with crucial strategic partners and Fortune 1000 and large cap privately held companies in prescribed area.
  • Drives the growth and development of HMA’s Hyundai and Genesis Commercial Fleet Sales business in the assigned U.S. region.  Persons in this position act as business owner of the territory for commercial sales, responsible for setting and meeting sales objectives, profitable growth and maintaining customer satisfaction of the assigned customer base.
  • Liaisons with fleet management company, upfitter, lease company and commercial fleet dealer partners all in support of sales and service with assigned end user fleets.
  • Represents HMA brands by Providing professional presentations of HMA vehicle features and benefits, cost-of-ownership analysis, competitive comparisons to crucial strategic partners and Fortune 1000 and large cap privately held companies in prescribed area.
  • Acts as voice-of-the-field for HMA but providing key local market insights and feedback from end user fleets.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Key liaison with 10 of the most prominent fleet management companies in U.S.
  • Represent HMA to fleet managers and executives of Fortune 1000 and large cap privately held companies that have fleets of vehicles for sales and service.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the commercial marketplace in presenting HMA in a corporate environment.
  • Oversee the entire bid process of all commercial/fleet bid orders. This includes processing and fulfillment of all orders, handling all of the paperwork throughout the bid process, as well as follow-up for a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Attend major industry trade shows and network with key commercial accounts and dealer contracts for acquiring upcoming bid information and growth of strong business relationships.
  • This is a Field position, requiring significant maturity, self-motivation, initiative and discipline:
  • In this position you will own the business of Commercial Sales and support within the Territory by knowing and monitoring the market, understanding HMA’s SWOT within the different sales channels, networking with key partners and building professional fleet customer relationships with goal of exceeding sales and satisfaction goals.
  • Creating and executing on an annual business plan that includes sales & satisfaction objectives, growth action plan, targeted conquests, business improvement processes as well as personal growth and development.
  • Personally, managing the entire bid process of all commercial fleet bid orders in assigned territory. This includes processing, tracking and fulfillment of all orders, handling all the paperwork throughout the bid process, as well as follow-up for a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Acting as Company liaison with fleet management company contacts at all levels within assigned territory, communicating regularly and working to resolve common customer issues
  • Representing HMA to fleet managers and executives of Fortune 1000 and large cap privately held companies with large U.S. based fleets of on road vehicles by demonstrating in-depth knowledge company commercial fleet products through presentations and informal discussions in a corporate environment.
  • Utilizing and managing Company assets, including demonstrator vehicles according to policy and in support of the business.
  • Will be responsible for negotiating and problem solving all aspects as related to commercial sales within respective territory. Must engage Sr. Manager, Corporate Sales for ultimate confirmation of structures as related to key negotiations and Fleet management company partnerships. Recommends competitive pricing requirements for consideration to National Sales and Finance for approvals.
  • This position recommends competitive pricing and terms requirements for consideration to immediate supervisor (or higher) of National Sales and Finance for approvals.  With these approvals, this position is responsible for negotiating Competitive Assistance Program (CAP) incentives.  Persons in this position must engage the immediate supervisor for Corporate Sales for ultimate confirmation of structures and commitments as related to key negotiations and Fleet management company partnerships prior to formal written commitments. 
  • Position has authority to utilize company provided assets to perform sales related duties within the guidelines provided.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • Six or more years of successful commercial sales experience as an OEM, FMC and/or Commercial Dealer representative/manager.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience is desired.
  • Commercial Fleet Sales and/or sales management.
  • Basic skills and understanding of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to nurture new business and cultivate it year over year.
  • Proven territory organizational skills.
  • Ability to assimilate KPI’s as related to customer requirements.
  • Skilled in problem solving, innovation, and closing agreements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to successfully prioritize and organize multiple, competing tasks.
  • Extremely detailed and deadline oriented.
  • Must convey initiative and conviction to group and team efforts.

WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU

  • Compensation Range: $86,800 - $124,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
