WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Field based position with a primary dealer contact, management support, and tactical implementation role. Key job functions include the monitoring, evaluation and observation of dealership operations. Through assessment of those findings, create recommendations to further maximize dealer performance. Implement recommendations, track performance, and address shortfalls where necessary.
  • Act as the regional subject matter expert for topical areas pertaining to Hyundai standards, as well as procedures recognized as industry “best practices”. Improve dealer utilization and field support of all HMA assurance products.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

INITIATIVES & PROGRAM

  • Successfully implement HMA’s retail process and sales satisfaction initiatives as a means to further HMA corporate performance in customer satisfaction.
  • Improve HMA performance in the sale of assurance products by increasing nominal sales and contract penetration; including HPP, CPO, RHT and similar programs.

FIELD SUPPORT

  • Develop job related standardized reports for use by regional management and District Managers.
  • Train and Educate District Sales Managers in both field and office contexts, to effect an improved utilization of HMA systems, comprehension of policies and implementation of best practices.  
  • Advance the skill sets and understanding associated with dealership profitability through the use of existing HMA financial analysis tools, industry guides and Ad Hoc reporting as required.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS   

  • Track and analyze dealership key performance indicators; develop tools that leverage HMA information assets to measure dealer performance against key performance benchmarks and industry standards. 
  • Assist in the implementation of training classes and support materials to advance the skills and knowledge of dealership and regional personnel.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • Eight years of experience of which at least five years of directly related experience in automotive operations.
  • Three or more years of supervisory experience desired.
  • Consulting capability is paramount to this position.
